Daily Schedules
Our daily schedule offers time for children to participate in group activities and independent child choice activities.
Nursery
(Ages 0-2
Arrival and Welcome:
9:00 a.m.
A flexible period as children arrive. Includes settling in, free play, and individual greetings.
Morning Routine:
Diaper changing and/or potty time. Hand washing.
Breakfast:
A nutritious meal in a group setting.
Morning Activity:
Structured activities like sensory play, music, or simple arts and crafts.
Outdoor Play:
Weather permitting, time for gross motor activities outside.
Story Time:
Group story-reading to develop listening skills.
Nap Time:
A significant rest period after lunch.
Afternoon Snack:
A light, healthy snack.
Free Play:
Time for unstructured play with a variety of toys and materials.
Departure Routine:
3:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Preschool
(Ages 3-5)
Arrival and Free Play:
9:00 a.m.
A variety of activities available as children arrive.
Morning Circle:
Calendar, weather discussion, introduction to the day’s theme.
Structured Learning Time:
Focus on specific skills – literacy, math, science, or social studies.
Snack Time:
A healthy snack, often with a story.
Outdoor Play & Physical Education:
Structured outdoor games and activities.
Arts and Crafts:
Themed with the educational topic of the day.
Lunch:
Group mealtime.
Quiet Time/Story Time:
For rest and relaxation post-lunch.
Afternoon Activity:
Continuation of the morning’s learning theme or new activity.
Free Play and Pick-up:
3:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Children engage in activities of choice until they are picked up.
